Catching Up || Lea

Dianna laughed softly as Lea swatted her hand away, and moved a little closer to snuggle into the brunette’s side. “All your shoots come out good. You’re so gorgeous. People could take the photos with a broken lens and you’d still look amazing.” She sipped at her wine and sighed, thinking over her day. “I played around with my water colors. And the calligraphy set. I…” She trailed off, feeling a little guilty. She had been fiddling around with her fountain pen and a bottle of ink when Arthur had barked and she had jumped. And the ink had end up over the carpet. She had tried to clean it up straight away, but (as she found out) ink didn’t come out of carpet very easily. The blonde ducked her head and busied herself by sipping her wine and fiddling with a tassel on the edge of a cushion.

Lea kinked a brow, watching the blonde beside her intently. When she’d trailed off, the blonde’s mind had started to wander as to just why that had happened. As she glanced around the room everything seemed to be fine, though she’d been up and running around most of the day…some things just wouldn’t come to her like that. Running her fingers through her hair she rested her arm against the couch and her head in the hand connected to said arm. “What happened, baby?” She asked, letting her eyes fall on Dianna as she slowly sipped her wine.

Dianna chuckled as Lea pulled her hips forward. She smiled when her wife lifted her head and kissed her. She let the little brunette pull her down and walked Lea backwards in response, pushing her away lightly so that she toppled onto the cushions. Dianna plopped down next to her and reached back to pick up the bottle of wine and two glasses. Quickly popping the cork out, she poured Lea a glass and handed it to her with a smile. “How was the shoot today, baby? Did you miss me?” she asked, tickling the brunette’s side playfully.

Lea stumbled a bit and landed against the cushions with a soft chuckle as she watched Dianna take the place right beside her. With a thankful nod she took a sip, savoring the taste for a moment. Her body reacted quickly to the movement against her side, earning a giggle from the brunette as she swatted at the hand attacking her. “Of course I missed you. Though I did get to play dress up all day. So it wasn’t all that bad. I think this one’s gonna come out pretty good.” Taking another sip from her glass she sat back, allowing relaxation to wash over her slowly. “So, tell me. How was your day? Anything exciting?”

Dianna bit her lip to hold back her gigles as she heard her wife talking to Arthur, and watched her carefully when she turned around. She lifted Lea just off the ground and grinned at her before giving her a soft kiss. “There’s my girl,” she mumbled, wrapping her arms tightly around Lea’s waist. As she set the tiny brunette back on the ground, she turned, so that they were facing the into the living room. “Do you like it?” she asked, running a hand through Lea’s hair. “I felt like we haven’t spent enough time together, so I thought maybe tonight it could be just us…” She trailed off and tucked a lock of Lea’s hair behind her ear before leaning down and kissing her neck. Tightening her arms around her wife’s waist, she nipped gently and moved her lips behind Lea’s ear to whisper, “I love you.”

The smile that was plastered on her face nearly hurt but she couldn’t let it fade if she wanted to. “I love it.” She managed to get out, letting her hands drift down to Dianna’s waist to pull her completely against her with her bottom lip between her teeth. “That actually sounds like a fantastic idea, Lady. Thank you.” Her eyes drifted shut for a moment, a sigh leaving her body at the lips against her skin as her hands moved and picked Dianna’s head up enough so they were looking at each other. “I love you too.” Lea’s words were quiet as she leaned in, connecting their lips as her arms wound themselves around her wife’s neck to pull her down into the kiss more.

“Alright ladies. I’ve gotta jet. This is my first day off in ages. I have a wife to get home to.” Lea caught the glimmer of her ring out of the corner of her eye and couldn’t help the smile that came across her lips. Saying goodbye to the crew of the photoshoot for whichever magazine her agent had her scheduled for she was off, on her way home. The ride home, as usual had music playing way too loud with the brunette singing along without a care, she was finally gonna get a bit of alone time with her favorite blonde. As soon as she stepped in the house she bit her lip in excitement, the smile on her face even as she walked and scratched behind the ears of the excited bulldog at her feet. “A, baby. Where’s momma?” She asked the dog who seemed to have his excitement quota filled as he walked away. Dropping her bag in the kitchen she turned, with full intent to head to the bedroom but stopped short when she saw the living room. The smile grew into a full blown grin when she saw her wife and what she had set up. “…Baby.” She managed to get out, leaving no space between them as she wrapped her arms around Dianna’s neck and pulled her close.

The Achele Wedding

“The Temple of Zeus? I don’t see why not. It sounds like it could be a pretty cool place.” Lea smiled softly, knowing by the look on the blonde’s face that she really wanted to go there more than anything on their trip. So of course, they’d make time for it on the way home. Lea giggled softly, getting hoisted into the blonde’s lap but relaxed against her the moment she was settled down. Her hands came down to rest against Di’s, noting with a wide smile how perfectly she fit in her arms and how comfortable she actually felt in that moment. “Baby…we’ve gotta burn off some of this energy of yours…I dunno if you’re gonna make it through the next nine hours.” She joked, gently dragging her nails against Di’s hands.

Lea watched Dianna ramble and smiled, unable to find anything else in the world that had ever been more adorable to her than the sight of the excited blonde. “Okay, baby. Okay. Oia it is. When we get to the hotel you can write down everything else so you don’t lose track, alright? We’ve got two weeks to cover all the ground you’d like to cover.” She smiled, bringing their hands up to press a soft kiss to her hand. “I just want one day to wake up at noon, lay out on the beach and do absolutely nothing with my gorgeous wife. Think we can fit that somewhere in the schedule?” She asked, tilting her head to the side.

The Achele Wedding

Lea could feel her hand being constricted but kept a tight grip on Dianna’s, slowly rubbing the top of her hand with her thumb to soothe her while they took off. When the sound went off and the grip loosened a bit she smiled, turning her head to see the blatant excitement all over her wife’s face. “Beyond excited, baby.” She said softly, leaning over to connect their lips in a soft and slow kiss. Pulling away she rested her head on the blonde’s shoulder, keeping their fingers laced all the while. “So tell me this, gorgeous. What are we gonna do once we land? Got any plans for us?” She asked, trying her best to contain her excitement seeing as they were on a plane and all.

The Achele Wedding

Lea leaned back against Dianna, laughing softly when she made her wave to their bags, glancing over at the little girl beside them with a bright smile. Taking the tickets when they were handed to her she pecked Di’s lips softly and secured the tickets in her carryon along with their I.D’s and their passports. Usually she didn’t like being so painfully organized but right now she needed to be so she supposed that it was a plus. Lacing her fingers with the blonde’s she rested her head on her shoulder, offering up a small smile to the photographers who always seemed to be swarming the airport. She kept her ring hidden though, along with Di’s so they weren’t bombarded with questions right before their honeymoon, though news of their nuptials would be all over the place sooner or later. Reaching over and into her bag when their seats were being boarded she handed everything in that needed to go to the flight attendant and they were finally seated and ready to begin their honeymoon. ”So..think you’ll actually tan this time around?” She joked with a soft smirk.

The Achele Wedding

Lea smirked when she saw Dianna agree with her, that had been a bit too easy but really? She wasn’t one to complain about easy. “Look at you, already doing the agreeing thing. Marriage is gonna be awesome.” With a playful wink she tightened her arms around Di’s neck and leaned in for a real kiss, nipping softly at her lower lip. They arrived at the airport a little too soon for Lea’s liking but that only left them with the fact that they’d be on the plane and in Greece much sooner. “Come on, pretty lady. Let’s get this show on the road.” She said quickly, pressing one more kiss to her lips before getting off the blonde’s lap and getting out of the car.

The Achele Wedding

Loosely wrapping her arms around Di’s neck, Lea chuckled softly, resting her forehead against her shoulder with a slow nod. “Mmm, yes, you’re correct. That’s exactly where we were. Smart girl.” Pulling back with a soft smirk she tilted her head and gestured back and forth between them with one finger as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. “Each other, silly. That’s why they made first class seats so very large and whatnot.” With a grin she leaned in, nipping gently at the skin beneath Dianna’s ear. “I’d like to think that would bide up a good portion of our time on that flight. Wouldn’t you agree?”
