“The Temple of Zeus? I don’t see why not. It sounds like it could be a pretty cool place.” Lea smiled softly, knowing by the look on the blonde’s face that she really wanted to go there more than anything on their trip. So of course, they’d make time for it on the way home. Lea giggled softly, getting hoisted into the blonde’s lap but relaxed against her the moment she was settled down. Her hands came down to rest against Di’s, noting with a wide smile how perfectly she fit in her arms and how comfortable she actually felt in that moment. “Baby…we’ve gotta burn off some of this energy of yours…I dunno if you’re gonna make it through the next nine hours.” She joked, gently dragging her nails against Di’s hands.
Lea watched Dianna ramble and smiled, unable to find anything else in the world that had ever been more adorable to her than the sight of the excited blonde. “Okay, baby. Okay. Oia it is. When we get to the hotel you can write down everything else so you don’t lose track, alright? We’ve got two weeks to cover all the ground you’d like to cover.” She smiled, bringing their hands up to press a soft kiss to her hand. “I just want one day to wake up at noon, lay out on the beach and do absolutely nothing with my gorgeous wife. Think we can fit that somewhere in the schedule?” She asked, tilting her head to the side.
Lea could feel her hand being constricted but kept a tight grip on Dianna’s, slowly rubbing the top of her hand with her thumb to soothe her while they took off. When the sound went off and the grip loosened a bit she smiled, turning her head to see the blatant excitement all over her wife’s face. “Beyond excited, baby.” She said softly, leaning over to connect their lips in a soft and slow kiss. Pulling away she rested her head on the blonde’s shoulder, keeping their fingers laced all the while. “So tell me this, gorgeous. What are we gonna do once we land? Got any plans for us?” She asked, trying her best to contain her excitement seeing as they were on a plane and all.
Lea leaned back against Dianna, laughing softly when she made her wave to their bags, glancing over at the little girl beside them with a bright smile. Taking the tickets when they were handed to her she pecked Di’s lips softly and secured the tickets in her carryon along with their I.D’s and their passports. Usually she didn’t like being so painfully organized but right now she needed to be so she supposed that it was a plus. Lacing her fingers with the blonde’s she rested her head on her shoulder, offering up a small smile to the photographers who always seemed to be swarming the airport. She kept her ring hidden though, along with Di’s so they weren’t bombarded with questions right before their honeymoon, though news of their nuptials would be all over the place sooner or later. Reaching over and into her bag when their seats were being boarded she handed everything in that needed to go to the flight attendant and they were finally seated and ready to begin their honeymoon. ”So..think you’ll actually tan this time around?” She joked with a soft smirk.
Lea smirked when she saw Dianna agree with her, that had been a bit too easy but really? She wasn’t one to complain about easy. “Look at you, already doing the agreeing thing. Marriage is gonna be awesome.” With a playful wink she tightened her arms around Di’s neck and leaned in for a real kiss, nipping softly at her lower lip. They arrived at the airport a little too soon for Lea’s liking but that only left them with the fact that they’d be on the plane and in Greece much sooner. “Come on, pretty lady. Let’s get this show on the road.” She said quickly, pressing one more kiss to her lips before getting off the blonde’s lap and getting out of the car.
Loosely wrapping her arms around Di’s neck, Lea chuckled softly, resting her forehead against her shoulder with a slow nod. “Mmm, yes, you’re correct. That’s exactly where we were. Smart girl.” Pulling back with a soft smirk she tilted her head and gestured back and forth between them with one finger as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. “Each other, silly. That’s why they made first class seats so very large and whatnot.” With a grin she leaned in, nipping gently at the skin beneath Dianna’s ear. “I’d like to think that would bide up a good portion of our time on that flight. Wouldn’t you agree?”
Lea giggled softly, shaking her head. “Oh that’s the reason?” She asked, raising a brow before nodding when Dianna asked a question. She began the same process, trying to maneuver out of her dress without tumbling around. When Dianna pulled her closer she laughed, shaking her head a bit. “Baby! I’m trying to get undressed. Patience. We have the rest of our lives.” She said with second part with a soft smile, leaning in to kiss her softly before rolling off and slipping out of her dress, getting into the clothes she’d chosen. Making sure she was set up correctly she glanced at her dress before shifting so she was back on Dianna’s lap, straddling her. “Now…where were we?”
Lea grinned, nodding as she followed Dianna down the aisle. Wrapping her arms tightly around her new family, and her old they said their goodbyes and she pulled her wife, god she was gonna have fun getting used to that, away towards the waiting car to take them to the airport. “Now, I managed to grab clothes from our luggage so we weren’t getting on the plane in our wedding dresses. Once we get to the airport these badboys are getting driven to the cleaner, pressed and sent back to L.A where Chris’ll secure them in our closet for years to come.” She smiled, pulling Dianna into the car and pressing a long kiss to her lips.
Lea listened silently as Dianna repeated the words, her mind was elsewhere though. To their honeymoon, to nights alone, to children, anniversaries, press junkets. Dianna would be her wife she wasn’t just her girlfriend she met on set, but she’d never been just that. From the first day she’d been the one…it had always been the case. Lea barely heard the rabbi say her name but when she did she snapped out of her trance with a wide smile, listening and repeating as well. “I do.” That was it, that was all that had needed to be said and they were married, of course the rabbi had more to say but Lea didn’t care. The blonde beside her was her wife and after a few more minutes of talking, she was given permission to kiss her. Lunging forward she wrapped her arms around the taller girl’s neck and pulled her in for a deep kiss, uncaring if her tears rolled down or not.
Lea listened intently, tears rolling down her cheeks as she watched Dianna speak. She smiled widely, biting her lip as she let out a soft sigh and gathered herself enough to actually say something. “The afternoon that we met…I knew you were the one. I called Jon and told him so actually.” Laughing softly she wiped a quick tear before she had a chance to continue. “From that first day, you’ve been the light when everything’s gone wrong, the smile when I wanted to cry and the one thing that’s kept me going when it seemed like everything else in this world was plotting against me.” Clearing her throat, she let out a breath. “I’m not good with words, that’s your job. But I swear to you that until the day I die I will love you, and cherish you because you are by far the greatest thing that has ever happened to me….and I love you more than anything else in this world.” Although she wanted to lean in an kiss the blonde in front of her, or at least hug her, she knew they had a bit of a ways to go before the ceremony was over.
